Do I help them?

I have two eggs at day 24. One looks like beak is at the air sack and the second I can't see in. What do i do I am scared for them?

Are these chicken eggs? What have your temperature and humidity readings been at throughout incubation and lockdown?

If you can remember, how long ago did you first see a beak in the air sac?

If it has been more than 24 hours from an internal pip you can put in a safety hole. Search YouTube for more details on how to perform that.

The eggs are under a broody hen and saw the beak in the air sack a little over 24 hours ago. Second egg I am not sure what to with I can't see in it with candling

Both chicks were shrink wrapped and dead. The one with the internal pip looks like it may have died only a few hours ago. Now I have the problem of the hen abandoning the three remaining eggs that are in earlier stages of development ( she stole eggs while brooding when I wasn't looking). One of which I can see move and the other two aren't sure about

How far along would you reckon these other eggs to be? If she does abandon them you can move them into an incubator if you are fast enough. I have done that with 6 staggered bantam eggs, 2 of which have hatched already.

Cyprus, you give me hope. I have abandoned/rescued eggs in my sister's bator. So far, we've lost one of seven, with two "iffy." Sis won't candle again until next week, and any viable eggs will go into lockdown shortly thereafter. These are critically endangered Nankin Bantams, so I'm desperately hoping for a live hatch. Mama is currently more than a week into setting another clutch - and so far, so good ...
