My Easter Egger pullets did this all the time. I miss them perching on my shoulder, sadly i got rid of them. But my next chicken i will train to do thisI have 1 trying to roost on the side of the broader. Maybe a male lol. He even get up on my shoulder when I out my hand in!
Where did you get them?I bought these guys as EE and trying to see if u can sex them and explain them. Thank u for your time in answering!!
Yes that is what the OP said, but title of thread asks if they are Easter Eggers. I was wanting to know how to identify EE chicks from breeds with straight combs, yellow shanks, etc. They exist now, but I only have the "old style" EEs. That's why I asked.OP says they were purchased as EE correct? If no more information was given, I would guess they are mixed breed hatched from green or blue eggs.
Whatever color eggs they end up laying, I feel certain you will think they are beautiful! The hatchery has bearded birds out there but they have a variety in different big secluded sections. I was told easter eggers when I got them also got 2 delawares. Which are yellow birds in pics. I'm more used to gamefowl. These are my first regular chickens.
If EE they get beards once the completely feather out well atleast mine did.Oh wow. Game changers they really throw u off... Y don't they have the beards? Well mine anyway?
