Do you dye your hair?...

My hair is a-la-Jenny (my stylist LOL) and she does a great job hiding my greys. Naturally I'm a mousy brown but she makes me a reddish brown. I tried using the boxes (Miss Clairol and L'oreal were my friends) but when my hair turned green, I found Jenny! At 43, I got too many greys to count. Mom was totally white in her thirties and I won't cave.

My favorite saying is ever since I started going to the beauty saloon my hair quit coming in grey and now it grows blond streaks and various shades of red........
seriously, my natural color is dark brown but I've tried all different colors since high school and still do. Right now it's flaming red with blond in front and chestnutish reddish brownish in back, it comes to just below my shoulders.

Yea, you have to have a matching set! My hair is brownish with red highlights, and some gray junk happening, so I go with light auburn from L'Oreal but I have to use 2 boxes because I have LOTS of curly hair. And doing it all by yourself is not a lot of fun. And I don't care what product you use, the stuff stinks and I always open a window and it's too cold right now.....

I used to have a few red highlights in my hair to match my car. Red doesn't stick well though and my hair is normally black. It's back to pretty much all black now again.

I did have one strand of white hair though. Almost. The bottom 5 inches was black, then it faded to a brown for a few inches, then a pure white for about a foot of it's length, and then black again for the foot or so to the top of my head.

It's great! I started getting grey/white hairs at 16 (it's hereditary-my dad and aunt were white at 20). I love the Lush Cacas! The red is the best - it gives me auburn colored hair. The only draw back is the mess they make. Do you have your own recipe? I like to mix in paprika, lemon juice and olive oil.
