Ranaphobia- fear of frogs and toads although I can tolerate tiny ones

Acrophobia- fear of heights although I can tolerate being on a ladder or on horseback. I just don't like going into skyscrapers or standing at the edge of cliffs

Lightning scares me so bad!!!!

Especially when the really loud thunder wakes me up in the middle of the night and I can see it flashing outside my window... *shiver*

I'm afraid of drowning and sharks.

I'm terribly afraid of heights...I have a hard time climbing up a ladder and I can't imagine having a job as a skyscraper builder.

If I'm ever on top of something really high and can't get down, I go into a panic and WILL NOT move!!!

Spiders and other creepy-crawlers scare me.

OK, and I have to admit it, I'm slightly scared of the dark. When I shut off my light at night, I will jump into my bed so quickly and I will NEVER, EVER, EVER EVER go outside when it's dark out alone, especially in the woods!!!

Even if I have a flashlight with me. But my reasons for being afraid of the dark are reasonable...Such as what if a wolf, bear or coyote comes and attacks me while I'm out in the dark? What if there's some bad guy out there lurking around?

I'm creeping myself out just by thinking about it...

Well, not afraid, but I prefer even numbers over odd numbers.

And I have a slight case of claustrophobia. Only if I'm in a really tight/small area with no way to get out.

Acrophobia- Fear of heights. (although I would like to go skydiving someday...

Altophobia- Fear of heights.???? (same thing as above???)
Aeroacrophobia- Fear of open high places.
Apiphobia- Fear of bees.
Astraphobia or Astrapophobia- Fear of thunder and lightning.(Ceraunophobia, Keraunophobia)
Autophobia- Fear of being alone or of oneself.
Brontophobia- Fear of thunder and lightning.
Catapedaphobia- Fear of jumping from high and low places.
Cleithrophobia or Cleisiophobia- Fear of being locked in an enclosed place.
Cleptophobia- Fear of stealing.
Coimetrophobia- Fear of cemeteries.
Cynophobia- Fear of dogs or rabies. (not dogs...just the rabies

)
Dinophobia- Fear of dizziness or whirlpools. (whirlpools as in water whirlpools...those scare me!)
Dishabiliophobia- Fear of undressing in front of someone.
Emetophobia- Fear of vomiting.
Gephyrophobia or Gephydrophobia or Gephysrophobia- Fear of crossing bridges.
Herpetophobia- Fear of reptiles or creepy, crawly things.
Helminthophobia- Fear of being infested with worms.
Hydrophobia- Fear of water or of rabies.
Hydrophobophobia- Fear of rabies.


There are a bunch more but I don't have time at the moment to look through them all.

Oh and can't forget this one!

Alektorophobia- Fear of chickens.

I only have one I can think of. Fear of babies or small children being hurt, injured or killed. I know that does not sound like a Phobia but you have to see it to understand. It actually got started due to loosing a child at age 3 months. but now 21 years later is the only thing I have that would be a true Phobia. Set up all night with my grandson 6 months ago on the night he was 3 months old. Still very hard to watch a baby sleep. and it drives me nuts to be at parks or beaches and watch others with their children and how little they are really paying attention. I no longer swim if we go to the lake. I find a spot I can constantly watch all the kids and just set and watch. I will not even hear you talking to me if I am watching them in a situation like that. I had the thought of my son falling out of the back seat of our car when he was 8. I sold all of our 4 door cars and never owned another one until he was about 18 years old. I still ask everyone if they are touching the doors from time to time as we drive. Many many other little ways it expresses itself.

WHOA! what are we twins? i'm DEATHLY afriad of the dark! for some of the same reasonds too, except more complicated, like, well, i belive in heaven, hell, angels and demonds see one "Lost Tapes" show on animal planet and it scares me for life! i also don't like odd numbers! (my favorite number is 24, even number)​

I've seen those! I saw one with the vampire...Never again will I watch that show.....NEEVVVEERRR AAGGAAIINNN!!!!

about being afriad of the dark agin, once recently, i was kinda perswading my dad to do something and i had crossed the line, he sent me out to the pasture alone at twillight. i sarted CRYING! and i'm really a mature guy, and one more thing, about how you're afriad of coyotes wolves and bears in the night, because i live in an area that is having an increasing number of mountain lions, i'm afraid of meeting a mountain lion, wolf, or anything else that is lurking around my farm. i'm not afraid of coyotes because ther're afraid of me! you see, even know i'm a human, and a very docile human, i'm very agrressive to many animals, i out howled coyotes once, and plus i'm very good a crwoing and weilding this stick that seemed to be part of a rake of pitch fork of someting, i can most likly break bones with that thing! i've had lotsa practice with that stick, and nowadays, i always bring a weapon wereever i go around my farm thats not close to my hosue. i could easly take on a pack of coyotes!
