Unfortunately I do......my daughter used to throw her bottle out of her playpen and I would say an expletive and pick it up. Well, one day after she dropped her bottle, SHE said the expletive!!! It starts with sh and is a four letter word.

I was so proud.

But it sure taught me to watch my mouth around the kids, lol.

"Pika"

Pokemon was huge in 2000 and his babysitter (2 nights a week while mommy went to college) would bring over the VHS tapes and they'd watch it as after-dinner wind-down before bed.

sure do!

Oldest's 14 yr old DD said da-da at 4 months old. She was on the bed om her back with daddy talking up a storm to her-she reached over and grabbed his nose and said Da-Da I almost SH#@.
Then my youngest DD-took foreverrrrrrrrr to say anything-she cried all the time ALL THE TIME I TELL YOU!!!! She refused bottles /formula/juice you name-she only would nurse until she quit cold turkey on her first birthday. Her first word was very late! Ready for this..... She was about 10 months old and I asked her if she wanted some juice ( which she never liked anyway) she looked at me shook her head and said "NO!" NO was her first flipping word! talk about setting the tone for what Ive dealt with for the last 10 1/2 years! LOL

I'm surprised that wasn't my kids' first word since it my "favorite" cuss word. Their first word for all of them was hot.....we heat with a wood stove so they heard that word alot as a warning!

crap... that was DD's

I should explain why...
my DD loved to finger paint with the contents of her diaper... so first thing in the morning when I would hear her "playing" i would walk in and see poo EVERYWHERE and say awww CRAP!

Beat you! My 23 year old's first word was "bird". I had a parakeet in a cage and he spent a lot of time watching that bird. Sadly I had the parakeet on the front porch and was sweeping, hit the bottom of the cage, it fell off...Petey flew away.
