The girls always have the first and last words! I barely get a chance to say anything... They sure recognize their caregiver even from afar. As soon as they catch a glimpse of me they start chatting me up for treats or to talk me into letting them free range. They know I'm a sucker...

Weeelll, you see, they talk to me first:
In the mornings they sound like a flock of geese honking cause they want to be let out into their run area and fed. During the day, they proudly announce that one of them has produced an egg. Also during the afternoons when they get to run in the yard, they ask if I have any treaties. They tilt their heads and look me up and down with one eyeball trying to figure out where I'm carrying the treaties. At night they coo softly and I sing good night songs to them then. What's not to love??
