That wouldn't work with my family. And the stuff we have and the people I live with would have a hard time getting down there.

Oh, they are more blatant about "weird" in Austin. I will say that California has weird areas. Last time I went there I went to some wharf in Santa Barbara. There was a crazy drug lady, and she said, "NO CHICKEN FOR YOU", as I was walking by here.

I think there's plenty of brain defect and fun weird in both states. I lived in CA and most of the people I knew were nice.
