I just set an incubator full of duck eggs. Mixed breed and some mallard. I intend to track air cell size and adjust humidity level as needed, but I am not sure where to start out. Is 50-55% a good starting point?
Thanks for the help, Pyxis.I start at 30% usually, which is also what I do for chicken eggs. I find any higher and they don't lose enough moisture. You can track the air cells and adjust based on that, or if you want to be really specific you can weigh them and track moisture loss by weight.
