Thank you! I love him.He sure is a handsome big boy
Let's talk and get questions about ducks flowing in!
What a lucky man lolI will continue to monitor his weight. Thank you for the response! Their run, as can kind of be seen in the pics, is very spacious, and is too large to even be photographed in one picture. My ducks also have a large approximately 500 gallon pond. He also has 26 ladies that he shares with my BEI drake.![]()
My runner mix doesn't understand the physics so well either... I try to prohibit her flying, especially outside because she also has a crash landing. Usually it's not too noticeable but sometimes you can certainly tell!! I guess it's just some of them lolThank you! So, I guess she’s just bad at physics then. Ah well. At least she’s pretty!![]()
Yes, he isWhat a lucky man lol
What kind of ducks do you have? Once I know we can determine the amount of space needed.
What cute babies! You have three Pekins, one chocolate runner, and two blue Swedish.Well...I'm actually not quite sure. This is our first time raising ducks, and we bought them from a feed store (Rural King). We got one dark one, two little grey ones and three yellow. The sign signs said Khaki Campbell and White Layer, but I'm not sure any of them are Campbells at this point.
Some of the folks on here say that the dark one is a Runner, and I'm more inclined to beleive them that the sign at Rural King. Not sure what the little grey ones are yet.

Since the sign said white layer, it’s making me think possibly that the smaller white one that’s sitting down could be one. Is there a noticeable size difference?iWell...I'm actually not quite sure.
