Does anyone in central Texas caponize?(Waco/BCS area)

Hello all,
I have a small mixed flock of Pullets that I keep as pets/egg layers and one, a Rhode Island Red, turned out to be a Rooster. These are the kids' pets and as such I don't want 'Cricket'(as he's been named) to get aggressive with them when they are playing in the run. I have called no less than 14 local vets and animal hospitals trying to find someone who will caponize him with no luck. If anyone has any information for me it would be greatly appreciated as he is one of the favorites and I don't want to get rid of him.

Hi and welcome to BYC. I'm also from central Texas (Gholson just 12 miles north of Waco) I haven't heard of anyone one around here that caponizne any of there roos. If you do find some pleased let me know. Would like to learn how it's done.
