Does my duckling have splay leg

This little guy was a assisted hatch finally made its way out of the shell yesterday and seems to be doing great this morning but wondering if he may have a little splay leg... his legs just seem a little wide set. What do you guys think??

He finally got free from his shell around 3 pm yesterday I had to assist pretty much the whole time .. took us about 48 hours after the initial pip.. not even 24 hours old yet

I’d hobble just because it’s legs are to far apart probably won’t take more than a day or 2

Okay thanks.. probably just cause he’s a new guy then huh? Hopefully he’ll just keep getting stronger and they will straighten out

If you have some nutri drench you can try some straight along the bill it’s great for newly hatched. That’s why I think if you only hobble overnight you probably see an improvement always up to you

Thankyou ! I made him this little thing and some scrambled egg yolk and that seemed to be working until the nutri drench I rdered comes

but I was just trying to find more info on it so this is perfect thanks

Yeah I put it on yesterday afternoon and it seemed to work I woke up this morning though and he had one foot out of it...so I need to put it back on but he’s a wiggly little guy lol here’s what his legs look like now
