Does the P.O. always hold ordered chicks?

Hello,

I just ordered some chicks from Ideal Poultry. Does the P.O. always hold the chicks for pickup? Or do they make exceptions and deliver the chicks to the home address? TIA

Most will hold, unless you are rural and have a very nice deliverer.

My mail lady is super nice and post office isn't that far away, too far to walk though. I will bake her some cookies. Lol
I will try and ask the hatchery before they ship.
