Dog Attack! Help!!! *PICS* Great news!!!!

Penicillin is a good one if you want to give a systemic antibiotic prophilactically, but won't kill all bacteria. I'm not really sure what all you have access to over-the-counter. I wouldn't pack the wound with a creamy topical, as it's thick and can keep it from draining like it needs to. Just clean it with betadine solution (diluted) and rinse with water (preferably sterile) twice a day for 3 days and keep her little bandage on as long as it's clean. The spray you're using is fine...it won't fight infection, but should help with the inflammation. The aspirin is good, but don't give it more than a few days, as it can cause animals to bleed into their GI tract (and other places) if given too much or for too long. It seems like you're doing a good job so far, so just keep it up and try to make sure she stays hydrated. Keep me posted!

I am going to go tuck her in for the night, I will have an update in the morning!!

THANK YOU ALL for helping me through this so far!!!! Don't go far, I might need you still!!!

Bec, will send good thoughts through the night for your girl. If she is reluctant to eat for a few days you might want to give her 3 drops of Polyvisol daily (dribble slowly along her beak, as with the aspirin water). As Kelly notes above, I would limit the number of days of aspirin water to a few.

Among the foods that may entice her to eat - tho not an immediate issue like hydration is - scrambled egg, sunflower seeds, a little bit of fresh fruit or veggies cut up into small pieces (adds hydration)........

Bec, it looks like you're doing a good job with her so far. What you can try and do for her, too, is give her via syringe some sugar water or non flavored Pedilite. Make sure you only dribble it in her mouth so she drinks it herself. This is very important because you don't want her to choke.
You can also try to make her some scrambled eggs or some other type of food that you know she enjoys. Scrambled egg, baby food, and oatmeal have all worked for me. You can also crush up a little piece of asprin and mix it in with baby food, and give it to her via syringe. Again, just put enough in her mouth for her to swallow herself.

Keep it clean, everyone, and stay on topic.

Don't bother with the arguments because they'll just be "cleaned up".

Ok here is the update!, well today she is doing a little better! She drank some asprin water this morning and was turned around opposite what she was when I tucked her in last night! She made some little noises to me when I went in to see her this morning!!!! She spent the night in the bathroom in a rubber maid tub, no lid of course! I made her a nice little nest and she seems to be comfortable in it. She is holding her head up now instead of resting it all the time. She looks absolutely miserable...

I am going to offer her some scrambled eggs and watermelon shortly so let hope she is interested!
