It's amazing what you can do when one of your little guys are in trouble, always hoped I would handle theses situations well. So far so good. Only spent a minute or two upset while surveying the Carnage . When I saw this little one moving I sprang into action.
 
You said your dog played with the ducks before ? I wonder if this was play gone crazy. In other words a dog playing with a duck and getting too rough can kill or injure with out meaning to.:(
 
Thank you all for your advise and support unfortunately it was all for not. Her injurys where just to much for this little one to over come but she went wrapped up held and loved. Crazy what you'll do for your animals. Lessons learned today the hard way, but we will be better for them.so what should I do with my sole survivor? Do I put him back with the flock of chickens who he normally sleeps with.
