Thank you all for your advise and support unfortunately it was all for not. Her injurys where just to much for this little one to over come but she went wrapped up held and loved. Crazy what you'll do for your animals. Lessons learned today the hard way, but we will be better for them.so what should I do with my sole survivor? Do I put him back with the flock of chickens who he normally sleeps with.

I’m so sorry, I was just writing up how awesome of a job you were doing.
I did not intially realize how deep the wound on her right side was, rest easy knowing she is no longer in pain. Crazy indeed what we do for our animals.. these lessons are hard but we’ve all been there.

I don’t have advice on your last duck, sorry. I’ve never personally owned ducks but I would think any company is better than none.

Everyone is always so helpful and supportive here @BYC glad I start haunting the boards back in January when we decided "hey where getting livestock this year it will be fun" boy has it ever been an adventure. If I wanted the easy life I would have stayed in the city. Any suggestions on good hachery's? Wife's already looking for new ducklings!!!

Plenty of hatcheries, although I haven’t ordered ducklings before. Where are you located?

Hoover’s hatchery I believe is in Pa. so very sorry you did all you could for her. Getting more ducks is the way to go ducks really like ducks. Might also look on you state thread someone close by might have some same age as yours. Where am I where are you
