I didn’t think they where very easy to train![]()
Poodles would be good to look intoI would perfectly okay grooming/bathing them often
Yes maybe but I would suggest doing your research as they are super smart dogs. Mine has been so far very easy to train and pretty calm the only thing that has been hard to break is he has a high prey drive for stuff like squirrels bunny’s and birds he even goes after the tiny brown anoles we have here. But he has gotten better.Poodles would be good to look into
It would be a large breed dog - nothing the size of a cat!
It can have plenty of energy, I wouldn't mind.
I don't mind spending most of my day training.
I would love him/her to be playful.
I am thinking about training him to find shed antlers. Good listening skills and to be able to track deer to find the shed antlers!
I had a golden retriever when I was a kid and loved walking him even though he was a bit crazy! I would groom him because that just seems like a plus to me - I would mind if he howls - I would NOT deal with biting. That would get him rehomed. Mornings go for a walk afternoon walk maybe even walk - probably every saturday go for a walk in the woods. I have people that come over to my house sometimes so I would want him to be okay with new people.
As others said this is a big group of dogs we could say so it’s kinda hard giving recommendationsI would perfectly okay grooming/bathing them often
X2 with this because it happened with two of ours.I don’t have a suggestion on breeds because that really depends on what you want to do with the dog but I HIGHLY advise against getting two puppies at once. Bad idea. Read up on littermate syndrome.
I decided to get the other one later on. Maybe 8 months to a year later.X2 with this because it happened with two of ours.
I would say wait longer your gonna want t wait till the first one is mature and out of the puppy stage so closer to 2 yearsI decided to get the other one later on. Maybe 8 months to a year later.
Lacy DogI was thinking maybe looking for shed antlers and tracking deer and other animals. I have about 2 acres but a farm next door that I hunt and public land about 5 miles away. Plenty of places for him to run around. For temperment I am thinking calm but active. I love going on walks so probably twice a day or more. I know friends that have dogs and have walked them and .....
