Oh wow that’s amazing!! I honestly never really thought of it with bigger dogs.They need regular dental care. Many people neglect that until the dog can't eat. I get my dogs in as often as they need it to help prolong their lives and keep them healthy. I learned that after my one Aussie was having failing kidney readings on her blood tests. After a dental everything returned to normal, and my dog was like a puppy again. I say if you see tartar, than there tons of stuff you aren't seeing under those gums.
