She does...I will post pictures of her healed unjuries.
she eats all the time, has such a full crop.
When I was tubing I was very aquainted with a chicken birds crop...
The tubing saved her. She would not eat enough to keep her weight. And if I had to hand syringe how difficult to keep her weight up and the sheer disquieting for her to endure it.

I'm so glad you decided to try tubing.

I wonder how many more people could save their birds if the tubed?

If you get a chance, think about posting your experience in one of both of these threads:

I took close ups of the wounds. They are covered over with new skin. And the one on her shoulder has filled in. That was quite deep. A tiny slit is still there for now.

Grown in skin. She was hard to catch for this photo shoot.

The small slit at the top of the very deep wound.

Whispers is a bit dusty from her dirt bathing. Her eyes are so bright now.

I sure hope my Laya can look as amazing Whispers! I keep nursing her. I am seeing small improvements. She is no longer in the sling bc she learned to maneuver out of it and I didn't want her hurt. But she is getting out of the crate and "walking" around. And after I put the welcome mat in the crate she can get traction she is mobile in the crate as well! So I hope that all she needs is more time to health and gain strength like Whispers!
