So my alarm is going off at 6 this morning because I'd like to go to 7:30
mass at my church and then my Sunday men's group that I've missed the
last several weeks. The alarm is going off and I'm not moving. So Jake,
my stupid dog, is up on the bed standing on me whining and being his usual
pain in the butt. So I kick him off and as soon as he hits the floor I hearing
the unmistakable sound of him taken one of his huge poos. JAKE NO!!! Didn't
catch him in time. He managed to projectile poo all over the floor in my bedroom,
trailing into the hallway, and then huge mounds down the stairs. He didn't fail
to leave me a few choice nuggets in the living room either. My contacts were
dry so my vision was bad and I stepped barefoot in little poop drippings tooo.
MMMMMM, dog poop..
As I'm dry heaving, cleaning poo, spraying bleach, using some very poor language
SouthernBelle's signature line came to my head:
"When the world brings you to your knees, you're in a perfect position to pray."
I was already on my knees anyways and I needed some help.
God's got a wonderful sense of humor.
