I would like to start brushing Pepper, my Beagle's teeth. I was just wondering though if brushing dog's teeth removes any important things in the dog's mouth. Does anyone think it's harmful?
Thanks

Brushing their teeth is perfectly fine. It helps promote the health and condition of their teeth and breath. Also why vets clean their teeth too. Anyhow you should look for a toothpaste without fluoride . Or what I did was just bought a tube of arm and hammer dog tooth paste. Mind you there are a lot of brands I just liked this one. It was beef flavored I believe . The dog didn't mind a bit because it was tasty! And find a brush you like too is very important. They do make dog brushes but I thought they sucked lol. I used one of our old radius tooth brushes. It was nice fast full coverage IMO .
