She’s our Great Pyrenees. I think my dad has two different breeds in mind but I’d have to ask him

OK peeps this is serious, I still can't find a dog breed, and even though another dog is YEARS away, I want to have planned this. Short coat. Preferably medium and under in size, but I don't really care. One hour of exercise a day. Can settle in its crate/pen/in the house while I'm gone

I do! But can they do that? I know whippets are really hyper puppies...

I think so, yeah. From what I understand they’re sprinters so they go crazy for a while and then sleep. Or that might be actual Greyhounds, idk for sure. I know Bostons can.

Yeah, that's the adults. But I'm pretty sure the pups are like "I'm fast af boy" 24/7. Basically I want a short coated Cavalier. So I guess Boston or pug?

Ah okay. It think all puppies are pretty energetic tbh. But also with whippets I’m sure even the puppies can be calm. You just have to teach them they’re not allowed to be crazy all the time. Brewster would’ve gone all day as a baby or even now but I don’t let him. And he’s fine with a 20 minute walk now. Bostons and pugs are cool dogs though.

Ah okay that’s true. But even so, I don’t think whippets are HYPER but I could be wrong as I’ve never met one. But being sprinters, they should wear out easily lol but yeah I think a Boston or pug would be good. And you can wear them out if you have stairs or a long hallway
