Boston's do not like being left alone. They are very clingy in my experiences with my one.

I guess it could be a problem for certain lifestyles, but that's one thing I love about Bostons - they want to be with me. I was actually disappointed when I first got Dorie because she was kind of aloof and didn't want to sit on my lap or be petted. It took years but she has since changed and does like to get up on my lap every once in a while now.

My Boston's main goal is to lick my face. Bostons are HUGE face-lickers. Dorie is very thorough and Sissy used to lick my face so fast and almost always ended up nipping my nose.
