I have one dog now, once it goes thats it. I hate dogs and sick of eating hair in everything.

Ill join in! I have two Golden Retrievers! After having 2 labs that didnt work out, we have finally found out why they didnt work out and now we are able to easily keep our two Goldens! Animals are my absolute world! And Dogs are my life!

First is Denver! She is 1 year 8 months! A friend of ours had a accidental litter, and so we thought it would be good to get one. We are so lucky to have brought her home! She definitely is smart! She knows a ton of tricks and im still teaching more! She has some anxiety issues, but is so sweet! She absolutely loves the ducks and chickens and treats them like babies!

Next is Tucker! He is tiny for a 7 month old! At first we thought he was mixed with something but his Embark test shows full golden! He is fast, but knows how to outsmart us! He isnt learning as quick. But he knows a few tricks! I plan on doing agility and hunting with him! He loves to chase birds and doesnt phase at the sound of gunfire, now if i can get him to track! He instantly attached to me!

What didn’t you like about Labs? All ways thought goldens where quite similar to Labs. Its great you found the right breed for you! Is Tucker a working line?

We love labs! It was that they didnt work out. We went 4 years without a dog. It was because of my older sister, she constantly let them do whatever they wanted so they didn't learn anything then she was hovering over them which caused one of them to go aggressive and the other one started not listening to anyone but her. Then something happened and we had to get rid of him. I was heartbroke especially with the first one as it was kinda a surprise on my birthday. We were planning on getting a dog, then we found him and got him on my birthday. My mom had said that if we were getting another dog she wanted a golden.

Speaking of working dogs, I REALLY love LGD's, along with the chis I'm seriously thinking of LGD breeds to have on the property

Yes Tucker is field line! But he is still smaller than normal! When he was at the vet last(i think in the end of March) he weighed 35lbs. He hasnt grown much since then though. We need to take him to the vet soon anyway so we will ask about his weight again.
