(Don't mind me catching up a bit, the joys of time zones

)
I decided after I lost most of my chickens flock last year to foxes, sometime in the future (realistically a few years) when I move to a property where I can keep more poultry I will get a LGD or two (cause I read they're better in pairs?). It doesn't really have anything to do with me wanting the dogs as much as I never want to lose so many of my chickens again like that (I lost several of my favourite pets

). The most common LGD around me are Maremmas so it'll probably be some of those.
My cat was a stray kitten, I hand raised her from a four day old runt (so many of my family is shocked she actually survived

). I am not a cat person and generally am not a fan of cats, but stray kittens just do something to me

.
I did a bit of thinking about the shows and last night I took a peek at what show are on this year. Turns out there's nowhere near as many shows as there normally is! I did see that in August there will be five shows over three days, and honestly if I am showing this year I think that's the one I should aim to do.
It's a few months away so I could work with Winnie (and maybe one or two of the other dogs?), and if I plan to attend all three days I could not show the first two shows (first day) and just spend the time socializing with the dog/s then still do three shows.
Anyway I havent decided anything yet but that's my thought process atm
