Dog thread!🐾

How old is the dog? Did you get it from a breeder? How long have you had it?
Well..
I have three, they will be a year in October, and I got them from an accidental breeder, but they are full bred Great Pyrenees, and had em since they were a few months old

Hmm. I see. Did the parents come from proven stock?

Her tails wagging 😆 I do what fluffy says just hope! I have just been free stacking her, her nose is glued to the treats in my hand and I shuffle her backwards and forwards until she is in the correct position. Cameras taking a video
Lulu’s tail droops when she’s concentrating
I believe my favorite quote works great for this occasion. You can't make a dog look as good as it can by itself. Some of the best stacks I've had from Buddy is when he's playing. So in your instance, maybe try shaping. Oh, and another big tip. Don't try and save a bad stack. Just re-stack
And don’t try and “force” a stack too much, better bred the dog the more easily they stack. Which is why I like free stacking more then placing the feet
Ok thank you! I will continue trying i dont do it much but, Denver does stack before i throw a ball so thats a plus.

The process usually looks really bad until it doesn't. You kind of just have to stack and re-stack while rewarding for a relatively good position. With Buddy he looked terrible until one day it just clicked for him

Ok. Thank you!!

Nope. I mean proven. As in the parents actually protecting stock and not just pets
Oh they were pets all right..
They go all the special treatment. Groomed, clipped, sometimes dressed and lived in a small space, so when their owners died or something (I don't really know those details)
The lady got them, not knowing the female was pregnant
