Spot, is the Cane Corso banned in the UK? Browsing through the Kennel Club's website, and I can't seem to find it in the "breeds A-Z" page. I know the Dogo Argentino is, but I don't remembered anything about the Corso

no, though they probably fit the xl bully ban. Cane corso and presa canario aren’t accept by the KC, a lot of the bully breeds aren’t

this is the current banned breed list not including the xl ban

• Pit Bull Terrier
• Japanese Tosa
• Dogo Argentino
• Fila Brasileiro

I have no idea

They only accepted Jack Russells in 2016 a few years after UKC and AKC even though Jack Russells originated from the uk, which I find very weird

The new ban covers pretty much anything that looks like a pit though, no?

No. The new ban covers everything that looks like a bully. Especially XLBully. So completely different from pitbull-esque dogs

To people who don’t know any better they all look the same though. That’s more what I was saying. Most people think a pit bull looks like a bully but they shouldn’t. But to the people enforcing the rules it’s probably anything with a block head

Yeah I know. I thought Fluffy meant the actual bully breed (American Bully) not a bully type breed. That’s why I worded it that way. I might be wrong though and he could’ve meant something else. Either way, most people think an XL bully or an AmStaff mix or a little staffy or whatever are all a pit bull. Obviously they’re not but people think that and these bans usually cover anything that simply looks “pit bull” aka BBM esque. Obviously staffies aren’t banned right now but who knows.
