mine constantly get touched even with labels on it is harder to pet/poke a small dog when walking past


be very careful with that if the dog isn’t taught how to stand correctly and if you put too much weight on them or in the wrong place it is very damaging to their joints. Some people question if dogs should be used for bracing at all, since they are built very badly for it


I wonder if its just that most sport’s people don’t like small dogs? I see small dog people talking a lot about people commenting you can’t do sports with small dogs and things like that


I love big dogs! I do wish sports people appreciated small dogs more then they seem to

Can you? I haven’t heard of any still being bred for it you. also what did they originally Hunt?

I am pretty sure you can’t do the hunting trials in the uk with them

People actively use them for wild hog hunting. They have been used to hunt hogs for something like 400 years.

People 100% use them around here bur I know nothing of trials here as I have little interest and not looked into it.

That's a fine opinion. dogo was literally made with some great dane. People will always have preferences to certain tools.

Yup, but the Danes of that time. Not the Danes of now. I've personally never met a Dane fit for hog hunting
