Dog thread!🐾

Check out my brilliant 9m puppy. He's earned his CGC, his TKN and just earned his Intermediate Trick Dog title. Super proud of him!!! It was a lot of work for both of us!

Still working on desensitization around the chickens. Not a lot of prey drive, but he has some. If they run, he'll chase. Or if they're really loud, they're of interest. They're confined due to predators, so it's more about him not practicing "bad" habits at this point.

I have a German shorthaired pointer named Pearl. Turns 4 in May. We are adopting a brindle colored mastiff puppy in a few days:D Hopefully they get along well:fl

Adorable and gorgeous!!!!

Kind of disappointed in crufts :hmm There where a lot of nervous/scared dogs, I don't know if I just didn't notice it before or if its new. Saw a short video of 2 of the Belgian shepherd breeds winners that where scared 🙁. I also watched one of their display for the sports, one of the dogs was not only skinny but also scared, it was only happy when leaving the ring. Dogs can be skinny for a lot of reasons but I wouldn't use one for the public display with no explanation for its weight

Feels like crufts is turning more into a pet dog show then a show for show and sports 🙁

Lovely dog

Whenever we bring new dogs/puppies to live with us we let our dogs meet the newcomer(s) somewhere in the fields. Then after some 15-20 minutes of getting to know each other we all go home and feed them all with their respective bowls a few meters away from each other and supervising closely.
:love

Update as promised! This works wonders out in public!

It only annoys me when people pet without asking, I like when people do ask though because it's good for her no jump training and socialization. It's so annoying when they don't ask though

We took Denver out the other day and had one person ask to pet her only. Which is suprising cause normally we have groups ask to pet her.

And she didnt have a harness.

Im getting a "in training" patch for Denver when her harness arrives
I have a lot of different patches that I can use, including an "in training" set.
Is it illegal everywhere to use "service dog" patches on a not certified pupper?
