Domestic breeds with wild, do they fly?

My Peking duck and a Mallard drake are "keeping house",...will the offspring be able to fly?

I had a friend with a Pekin/Mallard cross and it ended up being larger and didn't fly, but I suppose it could depend on how the genetics play out. My guess is that it won't though.

No I wouldn’t think the offspring would. The offspring would be as large as a pekin but have Mallard colours and also silver Appleyard colours.

I have a crossbred duck which is Mallard x Black Swedish cross bantam. She can fly a fair distance and she gets a lot of lift. Also my Mule (Mallard x Muscovy) flys extremely well, he goes long distances when flying and he gets a lot of lift.
