My cousin and my dad both have 2 mature hens each but no Rooster. I need a Rooster or would like to buy some hatching eggs to get a roo that I could breed to their hens. Anyone selling Dom eggs?
I wish I had enough hens to swap with ya. I only have two that lay every other day. So I only gat one egg a day. I have about eight chicks of my own. I got a dozen in the bator from a friend, plus mine of course.
Interested in any Delawares?
Every day layers of large brown eggs!
I'm looking for some rose combed RIRs.
Know where I can get some?
I have a Dominique(her name is Donnie)...I got her from my uncle. She's a little nervous actin' sometimes, but she's a good layer....at least 4 eggs a wk.
I really do like this rooster he is not a year old yet but I plan to use him on some hens in the near future. I hope to raise several replacements from him then if everything pans out yes I would like to sell some eggs.
I'm looking for some new stock also the only problem is it seems like every thing I find is as rough as the flock in the first pic. Most birds seem to have alot of Barred Rock influence and that is not what I am looking for either.
If I can reproduce something close to him and the hens with him I will be content then maybe I'll be able to find something to outcross to.

I've got a few. I'm not selling eggs this year, but hope to next year. I would be interested in talking to you then, but for this year I know that Frizzled hen has eggs for sale.
I'll check with Frizzledhen.
I have a dozen from a guy that has a really nice upright, small combed roo and 3 of 6 really nice, typey hens. I'm also buying them in the Fall.
My roo is big and blocky, not to mention the brassiness on his wings. I wish I had studied up on the breed before I culled his brothers. Now I know what I want.
The first two chicks that hatched were had solid black heads. Now they are 5 weeks old, still black with a greyish chest and black feet.
Anyone ever had black Dominikers? I'm guessing those came out of my Hatchery type cock. No telling what he's mixed with. Oh well, I'll breed his daughters to a nice typey roo.
