Donald!!! - Gone without a trace…

Duck Knox update: Installed a new stud and the last two missing parts of the reeling today.

And then started to close the upper parts of the walls with chicken wire.

I know what you're saying: Chicken Wire is designed to keep the chickens inside not the predators outside! - But the next step is to close the walls with epoxy/wood sheeting, at least the lower parts of the walls, so that the duckies can't touch the wire. Then the chicken wire and the metal roof will be electrified. That should prevent any predator attack, shouldn't it? - I need to figure out how to create some windows in the lower parts of the walls, the ducks love to sit inside and watch their surroundings.

Instead of epoxy/wood sheeting, you could use plexiglass/polycarb panels. We have those in our run and it gives the ducks a full view to the outside while still giving them protection from elements and critters.

I know, but i already have several panels of that epoxy/wood sheeting. The previous owner left a stack of wood, that was rotten when i found it, except for those panels. Their downside is the enormous weight, i can barely lift a 2x3m panel, threw a piece into my pond and it sank to the bottom. I may have some poly-carbonate panels somewhere in the garage, or i just buy one or two, they are not too expensive.

Wanna be. . are these decks attached to your house?
I would be awful worried you may have a fire risk if you electrify all of that
