I know! I don't think I've ever ordered something through the mail that cost that much! As soon as I can verify the price (Ashley at metzer still hasn't returned my call) I'll let everyone know the total cost with shipping. I'll try calling again tomorrow.

Here's something that just occurred to me...when my two pairs are grown, will I need to house them separately or can they be together? I'm just worried if the ganders will argue like roos.

You can house them together just fine from what I've heard. Geese pair up, so there shouldn't be any fighting over mates. They might interbreed though, and pair up with the other breed. That's why I decided to go with 2 pair of the same breed. They can pair up any old way they want that way.

Okay all, I sent pm's to everyone regarding the prices. So looks like on April 1st, we will be the proud owners of a bunch of baby geese!!

Let me know if you didn't get your pm!

Just a 2 cents worth about Toulouse Geese... They do not do good in a mixed flock as they are very timid....

I just got two grown ones and they're beautiful but the guy told me not to mix other geese w/Toulouse....

They stay very quiet until they are alerted to something then they will speak up....

I'ld have to say that depends on the goose. I have my toulouse in with rouen and pekins ducks. As well as 2 buff geese. and they all do well. Have seen all of them huddled together at their pools or feeders. But then agian i seem to get all the oddball animals

Okay guys, Mojo has decided she no longer wants to get her goslings, after the dog incident. So our prices will probably be a bit more. I'll let everyone know the new price once Ashley at metzer's gets back to me.
