I was wondering if someone could tell me if one of my two Rhode Island Reds is a rooster. The one in question has the bigger comb and waddle and lately has been acting more aggressive. It's kind of funny he will nip it everybody else's feet but he won't nip at mine. They are about 9 weeks old now and haven't crowed or grown a spur at all. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have 2 Silkies, both hatchery sexed as female, who are now 9 1/2 weeks old. One is considerably larger than the other (and spent his/her first few days in the brooder running around pecking the other chicks when they were eating, ignoring the 5 open spaces right in front of him/her to eat). We are wondering if this is a boy. I'll include pictures of both chicks, and would really appreciate your opinion on gender (knowing that Silkies can be hard to sex...)

Not a silkie expert, but you might be right. Not sure though - could be two pullets.
