Hi there! We recently acquired 4 chickens from a gentleman and this one is the only one he forgot the breed of.

This cutie is approximately 4 to 5 months. It's my favorite bc of how beautiful the colors are on this breed. Can someone tell me if this is a rooster and what breed??

Definitely not white Am - looks to be some bantam. You're gonna have to wait until she's a little older to tell for sure.

Looks like a mix or maybe some type of red sex link. What egg color and do you know where he got them from?

She's not laying for us yet so no idea on egg color. We're in Georgia and he got them somewhere in Newnan. He described her as "more expensive" than the other 3, which are 2 Rhode Island Reds and an Orpington.

Ok. Thinking...not really sure on this hen. If you're talking about the hens in your avatar, you have two RIRs but no Orpington - looks like a Barred Plymouth Rock.
