All pulletsHi, new to raising chickens. Looking for help with sexing my chickens. We got 3 chicks from my daughters class (1 Rhode Island Red, 1Black Sexlink and 1 Araucana but I think its an Americauna due to its tail) they are now 2 1/2 months old. I'm very confused because some things I've read tell me I have 3 hens and other things tell me I have 1 hen and 2 roosters. Really confused and looking for helpView attachment 1091764 View attachment 1091765 View attachment 1091767 View attachment 1091768
Thank you! I've been confused because I've read that if the tail feathers curl its a rooster but I've also seen hens with curled feathers. Thank you so muchAll pullets
I think u are asking about different breeds..?... if so, some breeds are sex-linked.. from my understanding that means they look very different at hatch. some are not. google sex link chicken breed list or your at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_link . hope this helpsAre all chickens colored like these ones in my photo some kind of sexlink? (I hope you don't mind all my questions. I'm learning! )
Hey K!Hello,
I think this is going to be my first time asking for help...
So, I have to chicks. Both about three weeks and four days old.
And this isn't overly important because I like mysteries so I don't mind if she's too young to tell. Here is a photo of Lil' Maggie. Maggie stands like a rooster.
She might be too young to tell though.
What gender does Maggie look? Thanks!

Great thread Leah!
Hey K!
Is this your Deleware/New Hampshire and whatever other breeds are in the cross?
What type of comb does Maggie have?
