Hi all. Thanks for earlier input. I've got some pics of my little EE Pip at 8 weeks now. So far there's been one vote for pullet and one for cockerel. Tried to get pics of back, tail, neck and comb. That has me confused--I've read that pea combs on a male will have two or three distinct rows of peas. There are definitely 3 ridges on Pip's, but the center one is much larger than the rows on the sides. Of all my youngsters, this one is the boldest and most curious. Again, any input much appreciated.

Any clues on these silkie babies? The first 6 were from a friend and are obviously a bit mixed so I feel like they're even harder to tell. They're 8 weeks old here and the last 2 are from a farm supply store so a bit more proper silkie but they're only 7 weeks old here. To me number 3 is an obvious boy... but I'm baffled with most of the others. I'm also missing one but I'm not able to take a picture of him/her atm. Will post that one when I can. Any ideas on these little ones?

3 and 8 are the only obvious cockerels so far

So you think 8 is an obvious cockerel? I wouldn't have picked that up with my untrained eye at all! Thanks for the input. I'm really hoping that the last two (from the farm supply) are a Male and female. I was wondering if you knew if their color would change at all? The woman from the farm supply said they were blues when I bought them but they don't seem to be anywhere near blue... in her defence they were awfully gray 4 days after they hatched when I picked them up... but now they seem white/yellow.

They look white, but I can't see their whole body.
