Don't toss those eggs yet... Day 28 and hatching!!!!

I was going to let the kids dissect the eggs today and we arrived to school to find them hatching! I had heard to toss eggs after day 25 but we'll wait it out from now on!

Wow now THAT is patience. . . I find that I just don't really wait after day 23.

But, when I open most of my unhatched eggs - Pretty sure the chick is already dead.

Im glad you posted this I have eggs I thought would hatch Monday and still havent today so I am going to wait a few days.

Mine are starting to hatch today, but there were a couple days that the temp got away from me and got a little cold (not really cold, cold) so I'm expecting to have a drawn out hatch. Hope all goes well for you.
