I have a cage/pen that's 2' wide by 6' long by 3' tall. I'm going to be putting 3 bobwhites, 1 male 2 females, in it and was wondering if I could also put my pair of ringneck doves in there as well. It would only be for around a month, just until the weather warms up enough to move everyone into their outside pens.

The length is good, but I would be concerned about the height. Bobwhite males can be tenacious at times and could harass your doves if they can't get up high enough to avoid them. If you can keep the doves above the ground (platform perches, elevated feed & water pans), you might be alright - but I would be wary unless you can make it taller.

Unfortunately taller isn't an option. My son just built me 2 of these pens, one for a trio of oegb bantams and one for my bobwhites. He did a really nice job on both of them and looking at them I thought there's so much space for 3 small bobwhites wonder if the doves would be able to go in there with them. The last thing I want is the doves and bobwhites to be harassing each other, so guess it'll be bobwhites only and the doves will just have to stay where they are for now
