Hello,
I've read the terms and rules and didn't find that mentioned, which I suppose means it's not possible.
But I'm still asking in case I may have missed it.
Is downloading a backup of all our posted content (an XML file or the like) a possibility?
If it is, under what circumstances and conditions?

I apologise in advance if this is explained somewhere and I've missed it.
Thank you for reading and have a pleasant day.

Thanks for letting me know ! Actually I can see exactly how I could use that feature to save the content I want, though it would take a bit more time 🙂.
Once upon a Time there was a really, really long thread that somebody wanted saved.
I might have offered to copy and paste everything into a word document for them but I don't think I'd ever do that again cuz it took forever.

Well, I'm happy to know that when all hell will break loose I'll have by then a text backup of my chicken diary to read on my computer 🤣.
Joking..sort of !

It would be a very nice feature to have a similar export functionality for threads as the one present in the PMs for people like me who end up posting for years about their chickens.

Who knows, with the increase of backyard chicken keepers, maybe some day backyard chicken's health and behaviour will become an object of academic research and some of that content could be of interest. Better legally downloading relevant content than scraping a whole website...
