Drake Obsessed with Egg!!

My drake is super interested in my Muscovy hen's eggs. He circles it and pushes at it with his beak very delicately. He's not aggressive when I take it. It's almost like he wants to sit on it? I can't figure out what he's doing. If I leave it on a table or the couch he will jump up so he can check it out. Anyone know what his fascination is?

My drake went through a stage where he was obsessed with eggs. I only had one layer at the time but he was aggressive when I took the egg. Then all the other ladies started up and he lost interest.

Definitely a drake. He's never eaten one. It's a bit odd if he were just checking it out because he does it every time! He's never eaten one. He and my hen live inside and she wakes me up every morning so she has a buddy to lay her egg with lol.

He's not aggressive at all when I take it, but probably just a cute phase.

They sit on the couch with me all day while I work. It's fantastic.
