Recently completed this drawing of a Silver Spangled Hamburg, done with graphite pencil:

These are paintings that were inspired by my new silkies-I've only had them about five weeks and I'm completely head over heels in love with them-and I didn't even really want them haha!

I've found that having the chickens actually inspire me quite a bit in the craft department...I have been doing watercolors as well (mostly chicken related and i never even water colored before-I just woke up and knew I wanted to watercolor a chicken)....but yarn is my favorite medium-and lots of chicken stuff being made in that department too!

I would be soooo happy if someone painted her!
I usually oil pastel paint and sketch. I actually mostly do my favorite cat Prince. My sketch books are lost right now... (Typical artist/me)
But I'll find em! I've got a few days of, just had surgery.
