Drunk chicken?

Update:
She’s still pretty lethargic, we kept her inside all day to monitor her. We just fed her 3ml of a baby bird feed via a syringe. She did not open her eyes but when I pulled her neck up and opened her beak she began to swallow. Hoping some fluid and sustenance will bring better news tomorrow. I’ve seen some information out there pointing to epsom salt baths for 5 minutes. Has anyone heard of this? We are keeping her vent cleaned and I no longer believe she has a squishy bottom. I did some further inspection tonight and was able to look at her belly - aside from the plucked feathers that looks okay.
Can we a get picture of the hen, her vent, and any poop/discharge? Have you been able to get a calcium supplement into her to help with any possible egg laying issues?

If she continues to be poorly I'd consider giving her a general antibiotic like baytril or amoxicilin.

I know the formula isn’t chicken, we used it for a baby bluejay that fell into the coop last summer. He came to life on it and it’s what I had on hand that I could add to water. My focus is just making sure she gets water to fight whatever it happening. No calcium tabs, yet. Haven’t made it to a store. We have some electrolyte additive from when she was a chick we used as well.

I call the epsom salt bath "spa day" at our homestead. I use a cup of epsom salt and a few drops of garlic essential oil. I do this when I see bald spots, poopy butts, or red swollen vent or pre-prolapsing vent signs. Make the water high enough to cover the feet but not too much farther, as you can sit her down in it comfortably. Use a cup to poor the warm water over her. I temp mine to around 95-102. Keep her in there for at least five minutes. While she is there you can inspect under wings, and wash the vent. You will see the activity as you pour the warm water over it. They kind of let you know when they are done. Then I keep them in a carrier with a non tipping dish of food crumbles and water to see what the next few poops look like. By that time you will have all the clues you need. If you feel a bulge around her bottom, be careful not to press to hard but just massage very gently, as if she is eggbound, a broken egg inside her isn't great. Hope everything works out well for you.

Thanks all- she’s still hanging in there tonight. No egg today, which I assumed. She hasn’t opened her eyes much but every few hours we are getting her to swallow down a few mls of watery feed. I appreciate all the advice, I’ll keep trying. I crushed a calcium carbonate tablet and fed it to her tonight. Hope that’s what ya meant

Got about 2ml of water/feed in her this morning before I left for the farm. Came back for lunch and she was holding her head up, which was better than wed/thur. She seems to be fighting me a bit more with the feed so I’m hoping that’s bc she’s finding energy. Keeping her butt clean.
I just gave her a ml of water and then another 2 or so with feed. Saw her turning her head about and even pick at a feather or two. Most activity I’ve seen since Tuesday morning when we noticed the decline.

She had her eyes open a good amount this morning. She managed to climb onto the sink and sort of half assed perch. Might try to put her in the yard tomorrow and see if she tries to get her own food and water. Depending on her state tonight. So far she’s hanging tuff. Fingers crossed

Glad to hear she is perking up a little. She might enjoy being outside a little and seeing the flock, but do be careful about the others deciding she is an easy target. I once had a weak chicken outside to sunbathe for a minute and had to go back inside to answer the phone, when I came out a few minutes later half the flock had found her spot and had circled her and were just relentlessly pecking her :(

Oh shoot. We will let it be experimental, as long as she seems strong enough to stand. We will see. Thanks for all the help. This was/is our first medical problem since having chickens. We made it two years without so much as a hiccup.
