Dubbing for frostbite opinion

I got a go ahead from the vets today to do it myself. They'd basically do the same thing, but then I'd have to pay for it lol

I did it last night since it was a bit chilly out. I had a bowl of ice water with gauze soaking, and a bowl of alcohol soaked gauze. Wiped down his comb and the scissors after I cut a hole in a pillowcase for his head. Cut off the smaller affected tines, then went through and cut off the big piece. Cooled it down with the ice water, then put on cornstarch. I wasn't thinking about the hole in a pillowcase, so I had to cut him out. Put him back in the coop, and he was fine this morning. Caught him, put on some spray, then more cornstarch after I took a picture. Before and after down below., IMG_20210221_121705.jpg IMG_20210223_085123.jpg
