so you just do the roos cause they are more aggressive?...

do they bleed?
what do you use to do the procedure?
do you have to use anti-biotic after to prevent infection?

You mostly do the roos for showing. Game birds have to be dubbed to show.
You can use a sharp pair or siccors. Yes they will bleed. I dont put anything on mine after I dub them, but you can put a little blood stop powder on them if you want.

They do bleed some but if you dubb them when there blood is in there feed it ain't has bad. I just use meat shears to dubb them but some people have shears made for dubbing. You can put flour on there combs to help stop the bleeding.

I don't think I can do it

I was planning on rehoming it anyway, but wasn't sure.

I found someone who can give it a GREAT HOME... They have 12 acres... I think I will rehome it....

THANKS SO MUCH...

And please, this is an imformitive thread, stop bickering!

It ain't just winning extra points, I think you can't show them at all if they ain't dubbed

That's correct it has nothing to do with extra points. You can't show them at all if they have not been dubbed

I forgot to add that when I dubbed my chickens I put alcohol on there combs and wattles and washed the shears with alcohol to.
