Oh no, I’m so sorry! We lost her![]()
Both of my porcelain babies are slow to feather too, they have more leg and feet feathers than bodyI’ve put in an order for 8 porcelain at Meyers for mid May, hopefully we’ll have better luckAny tips? I’m thinking a pop up tent or crate with them separate, they just seem so tiny and fragile even compared to the other bantams I had them with. The Mille Fleur seem to be bigger and growing faster for sure, the porcelain left is very active. Just not feathering out like them
Oh my goodness those babiesMy little PDs seem to be holding their own with the other chicks so far but I think my plan will be to keep them with my Easter hatched day olds and then add the Polish and Cochin in with the outside chicks and the Silkie mommas. I feel like the d’Uccles just need more time inside to grow more and since they’re so tiny and there’s only two of them I think they’re safer in with the youngins. They are 3 weeks old as of today and they’re just so adorable and sweetI have a feeling I got a pair…but holding out hope they’re both girls. I can’t take many more roosters! Although a d’Uccles rooster may not be SO bad to have! A MF crossed to a Porcelain would give me MFs split to Porcelain yea? I wouldn’t mind having tiny baby makers
I hope they grow up to want to spend time with me and get loves! I need just one lap chicken to make me happy! And so far I’m 0-20!
They all like to visit me, but hugs and love loves? No way! I become a murderer it seems
I love them to pieces anyway!
