The two little ones (girls??) last night 😍 They are lonely now because their Polish hatch mates are now outside with the broody momma silkies. I’m hoping they don’t mind being all by themselves till after Easter. I think they’d make good role models for the new eggs due to hatch for the EHAL. If I’m lucky, at least 2 self blue d’Anver chicks will hatch and they can have some sort of similar friends! I also need to name them…I’m terrible at naming chickens! I agonize over it and they go unnamed for far too long 😆
The porcelain seem harder to sex. Mine has me second guessing myself. VideoCapture_20220405-143710.jpg 20220328_150415.jpg 20220328_150354.jpg 20220328_150422.jpg

6 weeks old. It just would be very lucky. I believe my SR mottled cochin is a pullet also.
Yeah, and we know that luck isn’t often found in chick genders 😆😆 I got to gorgeous lavender Ameraucana chicks last year and they matured realllllly slowly and I thought I’d gotten lucky. Nope, 2 very much cockerels…😩 but they are my best boys so I had to keep them 😁

I’m starting to wonder if mine will ever get much bigger haha. They’re just so little! I love the name Thumbelina 😍 it’s perfect!

Mine still have no names…I want good ones that suit them and I just haven’t gotten there yet! They’re so cute though 😍
