Oh gosh, they come in every possible color as other chickens. Mille and porcelain are the most common,
Golden Neck is another recognized color. Also black, white and self-blue, I believe, as far as showing goes. There might be more.
I only have one full GN hen that is a few years old, I’ve been trying to make more.

I started with only a pair of porcelain and the one GN, so getting more like her has been difficult. I had a lavender pullet but she died. My other current hen is more of a buff/gold color, I think she came from the lavender hen. Apparently I have been keeping the wrong males, so I haven’t gotten any more golden neck females. I’m not very good at mixing colors and lines, but I’m working on it. Lol

So the d'uccles have made it up to the porch of the coop with the others! Only took em like 2 weeks!!!
I numbered all the spots they've tried...on top of the nest box cracked me up...let me tell ya it came with many failed attempts to sleep on the porch before they settled in on top of it for the past several nights lol!

I have 5 Wyze cameras around my yard :D

Yeah I don't get the genetics stuff at all! But I'll never regret getting these d'uccles yo start the breeding project...even if it never got off the ground!
 
They brought the chicks out!! :wee
4 little healthy looking fluffy butts (one more near-dead left in the coop, now in the brooder inside with me)

What a cute and fun little set up!
 
I’m trying to encourage Tuffet to do his dang job and give me some babies!! :p I’m moving to a smaller house next summer and I want to just take some d’Uccles with me. I don’t want to break up my lil trio and I DEFINITELY can’t bring Tuffet with me, so I’m trying to convince them to make some lil baby girls I can bring with me 😬
