I think I would get rid of #3 or #5 in your post.
Does #5 have a single comb? It's hard to tell since he's moving.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. #3 is really light, though that pic looks a little lighter than he actually is. His spangling is not as good as some of the others though. I think I prefer the lighter, creamy look, but the other boys have better features.

#5 "did" have a single comb, frostbite got it, so he basically looks dubbed now. He's an older fella, so he probably does need to go.

Thanks for weighing in.

Where is everyone? :D

I'm debating over my Golden Neck roosters, I need to get rid of one or two, but I can't decide who to let go and who to keep.

I made a post on a genetics thread because I'm honestly not sure what they should ideally look like! If anyone cares to put their 2 cents in, I'd be appreciative.

I'd approach this by keeping your best one or two roosters. Of those pictured, I think your best roosters are one and two. This is based on body shape, spangling, and overall color.

Good idea! 😂

I breed Mille Fleur D'uccles for the shows and they so friendly. Bad egg layers and the hens are louder than the roosters, but great personalities.
My goldens lay tons more eggs than my porcelains. I don’t have any MFs. I find that odd. While I was hunting around the interwebs for pics of golden neck roosters, one site would say d’uccle hens are good layers, others would say poor layers. 🤔
