Looks to me like chick 1 is a roo and chick2 pullet and chick 3 roo again. Could be wrong sbout chick 3. Colors hard to tell b/c they are mixes they could be anything really. And the legs also goes back to bring a mix. He could be any mix breed with dark legs.

Sometimes I think the same thing when I look at pictures, but also some really ARE pretty big or pretty small. That don't help any does it?
I have some what I consider small pullets and I bought a chick rooster, he turned out a nice bird but way bigger than I want to use.
There is a standard....and if you want to breed to standard, [which I DO] you and I both need to buy a small scale to keep the weight correct.
Feathers can be deceiving..you need the weight. Hope this helps some.
