D'uccle Thread

So I am attempting to make Tolbunt D'Uccles, Tolbunt like a gold/buff feather with black lacing and a white tip. I am crossing Mille D'Uccles with Silver Sebrites (couldn't find any well laced Golden). Will be a fun multi year project. Any thoughts?

I'm starting with these birds, Seramas, and breeding to my d'uccles.







I love bringing new and exciting colors into my flock, especially if we can breed them so they breed true!

I'm art working on golden laced D'uccles this spring/summer. I have 3 show quality Seabright hens to add. I hope it goes well!

these are my 10 yo self blue D'uccle pair please let me know what you think of them! we are new to the breed and would like to know if they are of good type and what not.... also they are very flighty! they roost up in the tree above DDs window! Gomez the roo also had the funniest crow when he was 2mo! is that normal? it has gotten some bass since then but its still a bit funny to wake to that stil high pitched crow!

They arnt supposed to have lopsided combs unless they had an injury that made the combs this way i would not use them in breeding the color lokks pretty good they have large wattles which if they get to big i think its a dq they do have funny crows, loud for coming out of such a small chicken

those are LARGE wattles????? they are practicly non existant!!! as for their combs... i got them as day olds so im not too orried aboot it...
DW loves the way they look with their crooked combs! they are a breeding pair i am only breeding them to see if i can do it... the babies are goin to be given to class mates.... Large wattles?????
